Single-page apps (SPA mode)
Make client-side routes in React, Vue, Angular and Svelte apps work on refresh and deep links.
Client-side routers create URLs like /settings/profile that don’t exist as files. With SPA mode enabled (Settings → Behaviour), any request for a path without a file extension that doesn’t match a file is answered with index.html, and your router takes over.
Requests for missing files with an extension (like /logo.png) still return 404, so broken asset links stay visible.
You can also enable the fallback by:
- adding a
200.htmlfile (served for unknown routes), or - adding
/* /index.html 200to _redirects.
