In short
StaticHero is building an official GitHub Action that deploys a folder (such as dist or build) to a StaticHero site on every push, using an API token stored as a repository secret. It is in early access as of October 2026; until then you can deploy by dragging your build folder into the dashboard. Join the waitlist on this page to get access.

What the workflow will look like
Here’s the planned interface. It deploys the output of your build step to an existing StaticHero site.
name: Deploy
on:
push:
branches: [main]
jobs:
deploy:
runs-on: ubuntu-latest
steps:
- uses: actions/checkout@v4
- run: npm ci && npm run build
- uses: statichero/deploy-action@v1
with:
site: my-site # your site's address
dir: dist # folder to publish
token: ${{ secrets.STATICHERO_TOKEN }}Deploying today
Until the action ships, run your build locally and drag the output folder (dist, build or out) onto your site in the dashboard. Every upload becomes a version you can roll back, exactly like an automated deploy.
