In short

StaticHero Forms can write every submission directly to an Airtable table. In the form’s settings, add an Airtable personal access token, the base ID and the table name; form field names are matched to column names and new rows are created automatically. It’s included with Pro and Business plans, alongside email notifications and webhooks.

How to connect a form to Airtable

  1. 01

    Prepare your table

Create columns whose names match your form fields, e.g. name, email, message.

  2. 02

    Create a token

In Airtable’s developer hub, create a personal access token with data.records:write on that base.

  3. 03

    Paste it into StaticHero

Open the form’s settings in your dashboard and add the token, base ID (starts with app) and table name.

  4. 04

    Submit a test

Fill in the form on your live site — the row appears in Airtable within seconds.

No per-task fees

Skip the automation tool and its monthly task limits.

Typecast on

Values are type-cast, so single-selects and numbers populate correctly.

Still emailed & stored

Airtable sync runs alongside email notifications and your dashboard inbox — nothing is lost if Airtable is down.

Webhooks too

Need Slack, Notion or a CRM as well? Add a webhook URL to the same form.

Use cases

Teams use the Airtable integration as a lightweight CRM and operations backend for static sites.

  • Lead capture for landing pages
  • Event RSVPs and waitlists
  • Job applications
  • Customer feedback and bug reports
  • Order requests for small shops

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Still curious? Ask us anything — a person will reply.

Is my Airtable token stored securely?

+

Tokens are stored server-side, used only to create records in the table you chose, and never exposed to your site’s visitors. Use a token scoped to a single base with write access only.

What if a column doesn’t exist?

+

Airtable rejects unknown field names. Make sure every form field has a matching column, or rename the input.

Can I send to multiple tables?

+

Each form connects to one table. Use separate forms (different /_forms/ names) for different tables.
