These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of StaticHero’s websites, dashboard and hosting services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live). You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@statichero.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the files, code and data you upload (“Your Content”). You grant StaticHero a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, transmit and display Your Content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service — for example, serving your site to visitors, making backups and scanning for abuse.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights needed to publish it. Your Content must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Visitors’ data and forms

If your site collects personal data (for example through forms), you are the controller of that data and responsible for having a lawful basis and an appropriate privacy notice. StaticHero processes that data on your behalf as described in our Data Processing Addendum.

4. Plans, payment and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our merchant of record, Dodo Payments, whose terms also apply to the purchase. Prices exclude taxes unless stated. Upgrades take effect immediately and may be prorated. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period and is not refunded for partial periods except where required by law. If a payment fails we may downgrade your account after a reasonable grace period.

5. Plan limits and fair use

Each plan has limits described on our pricing page. Normal website traffic is included. We may contact you, throttle or suspend sites whose usage materially exceeds typical website use — for example file distribution, hosting assets for third-party applications, or traffic that affects other customers.

6. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we make a change that materially reduces a paid feature you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove sites or accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that pose a security risk, or where required by law — where reasonable, with notice. You may delete your account at any time. After termination we delete Your Content within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, StaticHero will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 50 if you use the Free plan).

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify StaticHero against claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify account holders by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
