Password protection

Require a password before any page of your site is shown. Available on paid plans.

In Settings → Password protection, enter a password and click Protect.

Visitors see a password page before any of your files are sent.
After entering the correct password, a signed cookie keeps them signed in for 7 days on that browser.
Changing or removing the password signs everyone out.
Protected sites are automatically hidden from search engines.
Form submissions to a protected site also require the password cookie.

If you downgrade to Free, password protection is removed.
